Trivia Night with the Friends is Back and Better Than Ever!
Thursday, October 2nd at the Marshfield Country Club
Get your tickets now for the Friends of the Ventress Memorial Library’s fourth annual(ish) Trivia Night with the Friends at the Marshfield Country Club on Thursday, October 2nd. Invite your friends, neighbors, and family to enjoy an entertaining evening of trivia challenges, food, drinks, laughter, and cash prizes! Tickets are reasonably priced at $30 per person and include a complimentary casual buffet with delicious desserts and a cash bar. Improve your chances to win by entering our 50/50 raffle! This is our largest fundraiser of the year, and all proceeds directly benefit the Ventress Memorial Library in Marshfield. Tickets will not be available at the door for this popular event, so reserve yours today!
Doors will open at 6:30 pm and Trivia gameplay, hosted by Marshfield Selectman Steve Darcy, will begin at 7 pm. The Marshfield Country Club is located at 515 Moraine Street, Marshfield. Silent Book Auction
Support the Friends by entering our monthly Silent Auction! Visit the library to view and bid on each month’s curated selection of exceptional books. Enter a bidder’s slip with the amount of your bid and your contact info, and then write the amount of your bid on the list so everyone can keep track of the progress.
The theme of our Silent Auction this month is A Sense of Place, honoring evocative locales that can transport the mind. Immerse yourself in the expansiveness of outer space and the polar regions, the intimacy of country churches and remote cabins, the adventure of China, the familiarity of Nantucket, the charms of the Amish, the diverse landscapes of New Mexico, the challenge of a PGA course, or the whimsy of fantastical Narnia. Bidding for these unique volumes will end at closing time on Saturday, August 30th.
