Share & Shine at Family-Friendly Open Mic Night

Share & Shine Open Mic. Tuesday, August 11 5:00 - 7:00 PM. $5 suggested donation. Light snacks & giveaways!

Tuesday August 11th from 5 – 7 pm

All talents, ages, and abilities welcome!

On Tuesday, August 11th at 5:00 pm the Friends of the Ventress Memorial Library will host the first-ever, family-friendly Open Mic night at the library. This fundraiser will offer individuals and families an opportunity to express their creativity while enjoying a summer evening under the stars and supporting Marshfield’s Ventress Memorial Library. At Share and Shine Open Mic night, aspiring artists of all ages may perform storytelling, poetry, music, comedy, magic, and more. The entertainment will kick off with local musician Crit Harmon outdoors in our prominent downtown location (or inside the library’s program room in the case of inclement weather), followed by Open Mic performances. No need to preregister; just sign up for a slot upon arrival. Whether performing or not, bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the show!

Share & Shine Open Mic is generously sponsored by Cycle Town and Unplug and Be Mindful, two amazing health-centered businesses in downtown Marshfield. This event is free for all, but a donation of $5 per person is encouraged. All proceeds benefit the Ventress Memorial Library. Donors will be entered to win one of many awesome door prizes donated by local businesses Lambert’s Haymarket South, Mae’s Sandwich Shop, and SlackTide, and local authors Amanda Davis and Erin Petti. Light refreshments provided courtesy of Star Market.
