April’s Silent Auction offers Something for Everyone! Take a deep dive into a fascinating subject you’ve always wanted to explore. History buffs will enjoy The Tudor Chronicles: 1485-1603 or Obama: an intimate portrait; gastronomes will savor The French Laundry Cookbook; and adventurers can visit Paris From Above or The Encyclopedia of New England. For fans of the classics we present the writings of Lewis Carroll and Jane Austen along with The Ultimate History of Corvette, and music fans will revel in Forty Years: the artistry of Tony Bennett, a set of four CDs with a booklet of photographs and liner notes. These browsable volumes highlighting memorable places, people, times, or talents would be wonderful additions to any collection, or intriguing introductory works to spark new interests. Stop by throughout the month to place your bids. The auction ends at 7pm on April 30th.
