Library Cards and Borrowing

The Ventress Memorial Library is Marshfield’s Public Library. To apply for a card, you must be 18 or older and need to bring in an ID with your Massachusetts address on it. If you are a new resident and haven’t changed your license yet, also bring a piece of mail that you have received at your new Massachusetts address. If you are under 18, a parent/guardian needs to sign you up for a library card.

As a member of the Old Colony Library Network, OCLN cards originating from other towns may be used here. If you live in a Massachusetts town that is not part of the OCLN, you will be allowed to apply for a card at our library.
