The library will be halting in-person visits on Thursday, January 7, 2021 and resuming on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. Curbside pickup and phone service will continue as normal.

Updates as of January 6, 2021

Beginning Thursday, January 7, the library will be halting in-person hours until Monday, January 25 while town buildings are closed to the public. This does not impact the library's curbside pickup service at this time.

On Wednesday, January 6, Town Administrator, Michael Moresco shared that the town's Board of Selectmen voted on the measure that was backed up by the Board of Health, due to rising cases of the virus in Marshfield and in an attempt to slow the spread.

The town also shared the following facts:

  • 219 cases since Christmas Eve
  • Schools closed for (2) weeks
  • School sports stopped for (2) weeks
  • December 10, 2020 Marshfield is in the RED ZONE (so many cases per 100K)
  • Positivity Rate as of December 31st is 8.42%
  • Total positive cases the 14 days leading up to New Year’s Eve was 193
  • 868 confirmed cases since March 17, 2020

Please also note that services will continue to be provided at Town Hall via the 1st floor windows, the kiosk or on-line. When residents come up to the windows at Town Hall they must be wearing a mask. For more information, please visit the town website.
